Product Overview

The Chiller Vactor System utilizes multiple steam jet ejectors, integrated chill tanks, and advanced controls to deliver high-performance evaporative cooling. Unlike conventional systems, it features automatic deaeration—removing nearly all dissolved air and gases to significantly reduce corrosion risks. Compact and efficient, this system requires minimal installation space and operates maintenance-free, making it an ideal solution for industries requiring consistent chilled water output with operational simplicity and low lifecycle costs.

Advantages

  • No hazardous refrigerants required
  • Capable of cooling liquids to 0 °C (even freezing, if permitted)
  • Operates efficiently under off-design conditions with higher inlet or ambient temperatures
  • Steam-saving controls that minimize cold water and condenser usage
  • Resistant to corrosive environments
  • Zero moving parts—virtually maintenance-free
  • Handles wide load variations with ease
  • Highly reliable and suitable for outdoor installation
  • Delivers chilled water in the range of 1.67 °C to 2.11 °C

The system employs a series of multi-nozzle steam jet ejectors (typically two to four) arranged in staged configuration. High-pressure steam creates suction to draw water through internal chill tanks. The automatic deaeration process removes gases, and the resulting chilled water is circulated for cooling. Controls optimize steam usage by adjusting for cold water and condenser flow, while its compact, modular design allows for easy installation even in tight spaces.
