Thermo Compressor

Harness waste steam and transform it into valuable energy with Mazda’s precision-engineered thermo compressors.

Designed for efficiency, reliability, and compliance with international performance standards.

Thermo Compressor

Mazda thermo compressors recycle low-pressure steam by boosting it to usable pressure levels.
Optimized for energy savings, process stability, and long-term operational cost reduction.

Product Overview

With over 40 years of expertise, Mazda Limited designs and manufactures steam thermo compressors that significantly cut operational costs — often saving plants Rs. 1.5 to 2 million annually. Unlike locally produced systems that waste steam, Mazda’s thermo compressors deliver precise energy recovery and optimal steam utilization. As the only Indian manufacturer to steam test under ASME PTC-24 standards for site-specific conditions, Mazda ensures dependable, performance-guaranteed solutions. Our technology is trusted worldwide, making Mazda the fourth-largest thermo compressor manufacturer globally.

Advantages

  • Guaranteed performance under ASME PTC-24 standards
  • Reduces steam consumption, lowering fuel and operational costs
  • Proven savings of 10–20% with multiple-nozzle designs over single-nozzle units
  • Customizable for desalination, process heating, and other applications
  • Steam-tested for actual site conditions to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Robust designs for both fixed and variable pressure operations

A high-pressure motive steam enters through a converging-diverging nozzle, accelerating and creating a vacuum to draw in lower-pressure steam from the process. The two streams mix in the mixing chamber and are recompressed in the diffuser to the desired pressure. Mazda offers single-nozzle thermocompressors for stable process conditions and multiple-nozzle designs for improved efficiency. Spindle-operated ejectors enable precise control in processes with fluctuating suction or discharge pressures.
