Product Overview
The Mazda Condensing Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) is a high-efficiency air pollution control device tailored for industries dealing with wet or saturated gas streams. Using a high-voltage electrical field, it charges and captures fine particles, mist, and condensed aerosols with up to 99.9% efficiency. The system integrates pre-scrubbing, indirect gas cooling, and intermittent washing for continuous, low-maintenance performance. Mazda’s proprietary design ensures effective sub-micron particle removal while operating at minimal pressure drop, making it ideal for applications requiring stringent emission standards and long-term reliability.
Gas enters the WESP after being pre-scrubbed and cooled. Within the collector, high-voltage electrodes generate a corona discharge, ionizing the gas stream. Sub-micron particles and mists become electrically charged and are then attracted to grounded collection electrodes. These surfaces are periodically washed down with water to remove accumulated material. Mazda’s proprietary design ensures smooth gas distribution, efficient particle capture, and reliable operation across varying load conditions.
